23 clips of children aged 5-7 and 7-11 talking about their Christian faith designed for easy use by schools nationally.
'Sharing Faith in Schools' is a new initiative with a mission to train and support those involved in Christian schools work across England for FREE.
In schools right now there is a rich opportunity to go where 8.2 million children and young people are and support them in an educational context.
· 95% of children and young people are not in church (SU, 2017)
· 21% of all 11-18 year olds say they are active followers of Jesus (Talking Jesus Report, 2016)
· 45% of all young people do not know an active Christian (Talking Jesus Report, 2016)
Maybe you are a School's Worker, a small Christian trust, or a church volunteer with a unique skills and a heart for children.
Our pilot national project is designed to offer you bespoke training, 1-2-1 mentoring, and the opportunity for practical experience in your field of interest to support you in realising your vision for your own dynamic work to reach the 95%.
Through a combination of group meeting with other trainees; building your online portfolio; and half-termly virtual hangouts with your mentors, Sharing Faith in Schools will work with you to understand what it is you want to do, how to successfully communicate this to schools, and how to develop your skills to do it better.
Our Pilot programme starts in January to July 2019. Sign up for 'Sharing Faith in Schools' for free and develop your vision, your skills and your confidence.
