Thanks for your thoughts on this Leigh. If RE lessons give the opportunity for Christians to teach facts, then we also have the opportunity to explain and share how we apply this in our lives. Therefore 'evangelism' by your definition can be a natural part of an RE lesson that supports pupils learning. What could this look like then if every church fielded a Christian in their local school to support an RE lesson to share their faith - would this a more effective way of doing evengelism? R
